New Etsy Venture

You may (or may not) have noticed that my business products have taken a turn towards catering to little ones lately, rather than so much jewelry. I decided that this change in product neccessitated a change in business name. So- I have come up with a new name, a new etsy shop and a new email address to go along with it. The new name is... "drum roll please"... Bobali Baby. How did I come up with that you ask? It's a random nickname that I call Alexandra. Wierd, I know, but I thought it'd make a cute shop name. So the etsy site is: http://www.bobalibaby.etsy.com/ and my email address is lisa@bobalibaby.com I don't have anything up in the shop at all yet, because of the trunk show coming up tomorrow night. After that, whatever doesn't sell will be listed on etsy- hopefully by Sunday evening. Any jewelry will continue to be listed at http://www.cdesignsbylisa.etsy.com/ . I think that once my current supply of jewelry runs out, I will strictly focus on baby/toddler clothes, and hopefully some up with some more designs....

It has begun

Elijah started back to school today. He jumped up this morning and declared that he was going to go get ready for school. He persented himself shortly thereafter, completely dressed- school bag and all. He was so excited. I really like the way his new preschool teacher introduces the kids to the school. First, she comes to visit him here at our house a week before school. Then, today was actually more of an open house. Parents stayed with the kids, and everyone mingled and played. Tomorrow, class is only from 9-11, and the next 2 days are from 9-12. It's not until next Monday that she begins the full 9-1 days. I think it's a great way to get the kids eased back into it. We found out that there are 6 class pets: a turanchula, a finch (bird), a corn snake, a turtle, and 2 guinea pigs! A couple of the kids spent some time today out in the fields catching crickets for the turanchula. There was a large art area in the classroom, too. That is what I'm most excited about. Elijah loves art, and there is a large easle up for painting that he spent a lot of the time at today.... Well, that's about it. I know my posts have been few and far between lately. I just don't seem to have the time very much anymore (although I'm not exactly sure where all of that time went), but I'll try to do better. Here are a couple of pics, and might I add that Elijah looks incredibly grown up, and way to cute for his own good!!
